Fished Bridgeport yesterday and got into a school of LM in 15 FOW on the edge of a steep bank cove. Caught them on a 6XD. I caught 7 or 8 in about 20 minutes. 2 were about 3lbs the rest were 2 to 2.5. Strange thing was that none of them had any fight to them. None surfaced and jumped, none shook in my hand while removing the hooks. There was small shad boiling the surface all over the cove. Were they just too full to fight? Water temp was about 81 down from 85 a week ago.

If you weren't fishing yesterday you missed great weather for a change.

They were told not to resist; like many of the towns that are being looted and burned.

I’ve been catching them there and they’ve been fighting to the end. Spitting out Shad longer than my hand.

Hate to say this but the fish at Fork did the same thing just prior to the virus hitting the lake. They still bit but they were sluggish. You could tell something was off.

I figured the last big fish virus kill must have been at least 100 years ago because no one remembers it. But maybe this one will be every 20 years or so.

That's the first thing I thought of as well Ken. When Rayburn got it bad, the fish had absolutely no fight, same thing on Palestine. But most of them also had open wounds as well.

Where did you find politics in this thread?

If it’s the virus comments, do you know what virus they are taking about? I’d say no, if that’s the case.
