Last minute opening tomorrow(Monday)to go fishing. Meeting a buddy that lives up outside Weatherford so one these two lakes north/west of me. Bass fishing on PK keeps getting bad reviews on here. I know em both pretty well but haven’t been on either since spring. Any reports on one vrs the other? Thank you, Neil.

No question about it. Go to Hubbard Creek. Had a friend there this week and caught his fish between two runs of grass that he found. He was able to fish the area between the grass and the bank. He was using a White/Frog with a pink throat and a pink lateral line down each side below the water line of the frog. He used a marker to put the accent on the frog. One of those runs of grass held a 7 lb. fish on the deep water side; caught on a very light short C-Rig and Fluke.

Went out to Bridgeport for a couple of hours yesterday evening to get some break in hours on new boat. Fished a little bit. They were eating a white spinnerbait cracked along the rock up shallow. They were pretty active. No monsters but still fun.

Hubbard creek is very tough since it came up. I fished yesterday and this morning. Had a few but long time between bites.

Had some friends fish HC today, said it was painfully slow.

I caught 12 last weekend in a coworker tournament we had. I thought it was pretty good. On my way back from Bridgeport right now. Caught seven in 2.5 hours all when I could see shad and they would only bite spinnerbait. Tried a squarebill and rattletrap and they wouldn’t touch it.
