Normally in September we're still fishing for Whites and Hybrids but all the recent rains (Over 12 inches) in the past couple of weeks have slowed the White Bass bite and got the Catfish going pretty good! So, we put the Danny Kings Punch Bait and Catfish Rods in the boats every trip this past week and headed up the Richland Creek Arm of the Lake. We're fishing the Creeks and Coves that merge with the Main Creek Channel in 15' FOW and the Richland Creek Channel in 25' FOW in and around timber. We start near the bottom but fish are often suspended and you'll need to experiment to find the magic depth. We always throw out a few Range Cubes for the Blues and Fermented Scratch for the Channels. Lots of action from small fish, but plenty of Keepers mixed in for the Fish Fry.
