TexDawg dont let these sickos frighten you. Its not that bad. Go as long as you can on the treadmill. When they steepen it up it gets painfull on your legs. The nurse wil advise when you make your target heartrate and you can tell them you have had enough. Slowdown takes a couple of minutes. I do mine at the Cardiovascular clinic in Bedford on Forest Ridge and 121.

i get a stress test annually. Ive had 3 cath procedures and am now at 8 stents. I have them give me the juice then hold on! Lately they give me a diet coke to return to normal. I thought that odd but it counteracts the juice . Its a breeze!

Let us know the date and we will be praying for you. This is a great read as I had one set up but what they saw on the Halter Monitor sent me straight for a Heart Cath. They already had me schedule for Bypass Surgery if the Stents didn't fix my problem. They went in thru my wrist and when they shot the nuclear stuff in I got hot as heck. No blockage so they canceled the stent installation and bypass and sent me back to the electrical heart doctor. Hopefully you pass with flying colors.

Childhood friends dad played sports well into his 50s.

Went for his stress test and went into cardiac arrest.

Not meant to scare anyone but I always thought if you were going to have the big one, that’s a good a place as any.

I had one a couple years ago. Apparently I have a slight hardening of my heart. My wife could’ve saved them the time and told them that.

Treadmill was harder on my arms than my legs. The attendant had to assist by pushing my butt up. The ink in the veins was a trip watching the monitor.
