Nice when was that. "the good old days" John
Give a child a fish and feed him for a meal. Teach a child to fish and they stay hooked on something else besides drugs and violence. Nice bass! I never did fish there. What did cause it to turn into a mud hole anyway?

Those are great, we use to tear up the hybrids and sandies in the spring below the dam. Safe to say that hasn't happened in a few years too.

I loved that lake for catfishing. Hope I live long enough for it to come back. Too many cities watering their lawns out of this lake! It apparently has a poor watershed. I loved fishing in the timber at Rayburn many years ago and Cooper was just like old times.

Its too bad much of the rain has bypassed teh Cooper Watershed. Will they hold off draining cooper until Lavon gets low again? Just seems while Lavon is 4+ feet high, they might leave Cooper alone for a little while. They are building a pipeline from teh Trinity(south of hubbard) up to lavon and also building another pipeline from Texoma to Lavon so hopefully in the future they will drain cooper less. Are you guys as afraid as I am about Fork. Arent they getting ready to start draining that lake as well starting in teh fall?

Why would they need to drain Fork? Why would they need to drain any lake from around here these days with all the rain we've gotten?
