Oh I get it believe me...they weren't too friendly at first to the kid from California either when I first hit town. Never did understand why they didn't like folks from Texas.

Glad I live in Wyoming, half their dang state does come up here though to get away.
It's not a Texas "hate" per say but most don't like loud talk .
Probably stems from the same feelings we have for Greenies, just stay in your own state and don't come up to ruin ours. It's the numbers of folks that bother them yet they flee their state for recreation up here.

LOL.... used to live there myself. I remember when they only hated Texans on the ski slopes. I guess they hate us everywhere now.
