I think the writing was on the wall at Petty, but there aren’t a lot of landing spots out there for him. Opportunities for a mid pack driver could develop, but I don’t see much out there that would be an upgrade from Petty.

Opportunities for a mid pack driver could develop, but I don’t see much out there that would be an upgrade from Petty. Since it appears he was offered some ownership to stay at petty and at least one other team is interested he will come up a big winner in this.

Do you think he may end up like kaperdick? If so I can see the law suits rolling against Petty and all other owners. Even though he made the decision to leave.

Petty was struggling for sponsorship in 2019 and were saved by World Wide Technology. They are not in much better shape regarding sponsorship now. A stake in ownership of the team was overrated. Wallace seems to me to be a wildcard with opportunities ranging from very little to possibly landing at Ganassi. My opinion is, there are a lot of young drivers out there and Wallace really doesn’t distinguish himself in the crowd.
