Lake Nasworthy removed the MLL on Crappie September 1st.. Kept a few under 10", but had one of the Best Days ever on NastyWater catching fish over 10" Have fished it for years and weeded thru many 9/9-7/8" Crappie too find a few keepers  Sometimes thru 50 too keep 5, even pinching the tail hoping it measures 10. Till they change the regulations, if it's a Crappie. I'm a weed out all the 9" Crappie I can! 1st Trip on the New License and had a fabulous day! Lost a Slab at Kayak, even unhooked one and he got away from me.. Ended the Day with 24 Crappie, 3 White Bass, 3 Black Bass and one being a 17-1/2" Slot  Would of had my first limits out of the kayak, had that one not got away  ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2020/09/full-62802-65711-img_0546.jpg)

Save a few of the smaller ones to fry up whole. They're delicious.

They need to do this on JP also. Nice catch! some people keep all sizes no matter which lake it is.. especially at the creeks in winter time
