I was heading to a jobsite when I stumbled onto this place yesterday evening. Just east of Canton on 279 is the little town of Edom and in the town I found a place called The Shed Cafe. Me and my better half decided it might be a good place to stop and eat on the way home. Boy were we right.
We started off with chips and hot sauce and the salsa had a unique flavor kind of like chili powder/stew. It was really good.
For dinner I chose the Jalepeno Grilled Pork Chop with salad, french fries, pinto beans and roll. She chose 10 grilled shrimp/3 catfish fillets with cole slaw, sweet potatoe fries, beans and hush puppies. Everything was great but in the awesome category were the sweet potatoe fries which I have never had before. They had a great crunchy sweet flavor. The beans were great also but the Jalepeno grilled pork chop might have been the best pork chop I have ever eaten. I am not much of a pork lover but the Jalepeno flavor grilled in made it awesome and the same for the grilled shrimp.
Probably a lot of people that go to Canton for First Monday know about this place but for those who don't it is a great place to eat and has a great small country town feel and great service.

I've got to try this place. I wonder if they're open on Sundays. I love french fried sweet taters.
