Made a quick trip to Lady Bird Lake,this time by my self. My fishing pal Jeff's job had reopened and he is back to full time hours!  My other buddy Steve's job never shut down!  Glad to see a little bit or normality coming back.  I launched on the west side and fished the west side from 7:30am till about 12 noon. Small crank baits-Chartreuse/Black and Silver/Blue got the best results. I also used the Gulp Alive Leaches that got good results on the Bluegill. Caught several nice Redbreast in the 9" range, some Bluegill in the 9" range and had two in the 10" range. Rounding out the catch were a couple of bass with the biggest in the three pound range. Over all I caught about 40 fish. Fish were caught in 5 to 12 feet of water all by grass beds and shaded areas by trees . I also watched a carp angler catch about a 20 pound carp while fishing the bank. It was a nice fight to watch. All fish were released. A great day on the water is always a great thing!

Looking forward to seeing your post if you make it out to Fayette. I hope to make it to Fayette myself in early October providing work settles down!
