Guys as anyone who fishes Rayburn knows there are a ton of dead pines standing around the lake. Well with this storm there will be a ton in the water by Friday. I just hope no one gets hurt during this storm! But please be aware running around the lake after all this is over! It will be a mess for sure.

I'd imagine if the storm is bad the lake maybe closed for a period, due to downed trees. I think Rita had is closed for a week. Hoping I can get up there this weekend to check on my house.

Yeah, the floods and high water killed so many pines around the lake that it's just a matter of time till they're down. With it being a couple of feet low, hopefully most that fall will end up on the ground and not in the lake. I'm also hoping my travel trailer hangs on through this.

Yes lots of dead pines will be floaters soon. Lots of pines along the roadways will be an issue getting up there this weekend to check on things. I just bought a house near Cassels Boykin 2 weeks ago so hoping it comes through ok also.

During Rita my family went up to my parents place by Jackson Hill to.ride it out. Took 3 days till the roadways were clear enough to make it back to Liberty and it was still a little sketchy.

Right now most of those trees will be falling on dry ground but if or when it comes up there will be a lot of floaters
