I have a 2007 Stratos 285 XL with a Yamaha 150 V Max. My problem is when I turn the ignition switch on, nothing happens. The battery is fully charged and I have power to the console for bilge pumps, and all the accessories but no power to the upper console for fuel tank, tach and other water pump psi. Also no power to the tilt and trim motor on the throttle lever or on the motor. Has anyone experienced this kind of problem? I have checked all the fuses I have found and all were good. I hate to take it to a mechanic if I can fix it with a simple fix. Let me know if any of you have any idea what could be wrong.

motor does not. I was having wishful thinking and hoping someone had similar problems and fixed it quickly. I was thinking ignition switch also.

Just got back from boat mechanic. It was a fuse under the cowling on the passenger side. I never thought to look in there. Back to fishing for me.

motor does not. I was having wishful thinking and hoping someone had similar problems and fixed it quickly. I was thinking ignition switch also. First, check your kill switch. Cycle it off several times and see if motor will crank. Next check your engine owners manual and/or check on-line for fuse locations under the engine cowling. There should be a main power fuse under the cowl. If fuses under cowl are good and you have a volt meter you can check for 12 V DC at terminals on back of key switch both with key on and key in start position. No power at selected terminals shown in schematic with key in correct position. Bad switch. Easy part change job. Make sure you disconnect battery and write down which wire colors go to which terminal letters before you disconnect them. Let us know what you discover. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2020/08/full-47849-64530-unnamed.jpg)
