My buddy Nate and I had a productive day on the flats. We boated four Carp and three Drum. We each hooked and lost another Drum. Had some shots at some Black Bass but just couldn't get them to commit. Also had a catfish do about four figure eights around a fly but he just wouldn't eat either. Nate has been practicing at poling the boat and is getting good at it so we are starting to put up some numbers. It helps when two guys can cast AND pole.
The flies of choice seemed to be a green brass hawk and a Mac attack.

Now that you are back in the game i expect to see a whole lot more content out of you on here. I plan on some camp trips to Texoma and Blue River this fall if you are up for that.
