Looking for a braided line that wont fade so fast. Like a lot of you probably do, I leave braid on months, sometimes years if I can keep enough line on the reel. After 4-5 trips however, it starts to fade and I resort to coloring it with a marker. i have been using Power Pro for years and am quite happy with the performance, it is a great braid, but I am looking for 50-60 Lb, jigging, frogging that will hold its color and not fade so fast and still have the strength and durability of Power Pro. I realize all of them will fade eventually, but could use some help in finding one that last the longest. I know a lot of you will say it does not matter and it may not for you, but for me it's a confidence thing. Help me out.

Sufix 832 doesn’t fade as fast, but it is more wiry and not as soft as PP. For me, Sufix 832 is also more prone to reel digging and sawing into timber. It sure does slice through vegetation nicely though.

I just use a sharpie on the 2' by my lure when I tie on some times only a foot.

Don't sweat the fade. Bass don't mind.

I use a wide tip black sharpie if the fade bothers me. However, it seems like if I treat my line (Power Pro) regularly with KVD line conditioner it doesn't seem to fade as fast.

I always fish braid with a 6-8 ft fluro leader so the braid fading over time isn't a concern.

When the color starts to fade the braid seems to get more supple and smoother on the cast.

Just strip it off and reverse it. You're welcome.

Suffix 832. I guess I will give it a try since its the only brand anyone mentioned. Thank you CCTX.

Vicious has a "no fade braid". I've used it all summer long with no fade issues

Vicious No Fade. It really doesn't fade and handles great. 50 lb for frogs and really like the 40 lb for finesse baits.

I have been using a light grey colored braid this year and have not had any reduction in bites at all.

I like using Diawa J Braid...doesn't seem to fade fast. If I'm worried about the bite, I'll use my sharpie, like others have said.
