I've made a half batch of these biscuits a couple of times and they're very good.

Ingredients

• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 1 cup whole wheat flour
• 4 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 tablespoon white sugar
• ¾ teaspoon salt
• ¼ cup butter
• 1 cup buttermilk

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 450º.

2. Combine all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in bowl. Grate the butter into the flour mixture. Cut in butter with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; stir in buttermilk until just moistened.

3. Turn dough out on a lightly floured surface; knead gently 8 to 10 times. Roll to about ¾-inch thickness; cut with a 2½-inch biscuit cutter. Place biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet.

4. Bake in preheated oven until biscuits are lightly browned, 10 to 12 minutes.

On average, your heart beats 100,000 times a day. One day, one of those heartbeats will be your last. Then what?

The answer is found in Jesus Christ who said "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." John 10:10

Looks good, I’ll give them a try.
