Weird rant if you ask me. Man was in need of a service. Another man answered the call to provide a service. Fees were discussed. Fees were apparently agreed upon by the parties involved. Service was provided. Fees were paid. Weird for 3rd party member to go film what essentially amounts to a google review about how they don't like the fees that his friend agreed to and paid for a service. I think we've started calling these kinds of people "Karens..." careful what you say....you might break down someday and need a tow.....if I help you it's gonna cost you $2,500.00 And now that you've told me your fee, should I be upset after receiving the service and paying your fee? do you not understand that 99% of us help other fishermen and never ask nor accept payment for helping each other out...dudley called the guy who won the tournament and he sent his son to help get the guy off a sand bar and I don't know if he told surman the charges up front or not...doesn't matter....fishermen or the sons of fishermen do not charge each other...it would be understandable if they possibly had asked for enough to pay for his gas but $2,500. is an exorbitant and inexcusable amount to ask under the circumstances..... "Fishermen or the sons of fishermen do not charge each other..." I like that--I'm going to use this line next time my boat's in the shop, hire a guide, or request the services of another fisherman (or their son apparently). Worth a shot. Better warn my sons that since I'm a fisherman, they're now indentured to the fishing community, according to beartrap.

Let's assume the facts as Dudley presented them are correct. They probably are essentially.
Two possibilities exist that we don't know.
1. Tom Monsoor was aware of what his son was doing and gained financially from it. 2. Tom Monsoor was not aware of what his son was doing and his son is a renegade. Tom only called him and asked for his help.
If number 1 is true. Tom is forever marked in the fishing world.
If number 2 is true, Tom should go to Surman and say, "My son was out of line. This is not the kind of guy I am. I just won $100,000. I want to make this right for the Monsoor family. I'm going to repay you the $2,500 that my son should not have charged you."
I am taking this event as a "stand alone" event. If there are other old wounds festering here, who knows.

Right, Wrong, or indifferent.....Mike is a grown man. He should have asked how much he was going to charge before he pulled him off. On the second note, why is Dudley crying on a video? Why doesnt he call Tom and talk to him direct if it bothers him so bad. Exactly.

if I understand this right,Dudley did try to help[ him off the and they coupldn't do it so they called tom monsoor who in turn referred them to his son who had access to an airboat....not sure if he pulled him off the sandbar first then hit him up for $2,500. or told him up front how much it was gonna be....either way it's an exorbitant amount when most of us help each other for no cost and you wouldn't expect this from a son of a professional fisherman who may need help himself one day.... I don't blame Dudley for warning people about this guy..... Mosoor's son has a business and they use the airboats to tow heavy machinery so essentially he called a towboat company and got charged whatever they agreed upon. Just because his father is a pro fisherman doesn't mean that he should do work for free for others. He chose to pay instead of calling someone else so why the rant from a 3rd party over it?

Heck Monsoor ain’t no better. He had his girlfriend prefishing with his during off limits and FLW didn’t do nothing about it. This is confirmed also!! Confirmed by who? I haven't seen anything on bassfan or flw about it 3 Flw pros. Just cause the media doesn’t cover it don’t mean it didn’t happen..... I would still like to know which 3 pros

Surman went on bass talk live, he did indeed agree to the $2500 beforehand, Rojas was also charged $2500. As reported, Tom ripped up the invoice. Though, it's apparent Tom knew how much they would charge before sending his son. According to Surman, upon arriving, Jed asked "Did dad tell you how much I charge?"
