Went down hoping to catch some bull reds on live bait in deeper water but tide was not moving much so spent most of the time in the marshes. Great topwater bite 1.5 - 3 hours after high tide with the bait fish coming out of the marsh grass, but then dead the rest of the time. Had to search to find the right areas, but if you found them, it was on. Spooks in 6" - 1' of water elicited some violent blow-ups on 3# - 9# fish. Took several to eat and let a number go, including this 8lb 13oz pretty fish. Even hooked a ray/skate on a topwater (go figure).
