Anyone else headed to Colorado this elk season? I will be on the mountain in 4 weeks. I think I enjoy the planning for the hunt almost as much as the hunt itself. I didn’t draw this year so I’ll be OTC.

My cousin has a place up there and sent these a couple of days ago. We went up there last year in Sept. and the elk were all over the place.

I’ll be there, we are leaving September 9th we got drawn for muzzleloader tags. I’ll be hunting the same spot I got this one two years ago.

Boy, I wish. I have been off work for a few months because of the damned 'rona and now it's time to go back to work. I figured that this year would be screwed so we didn't even apply. My daughter and I have hunted unit 70 during muzzleloader season for several years in the past. Love it

The elk was 361, mule deer 193 small back tine or it would have been over 200. The whitetail was small 148 but his neck was almost same size as the mule deer

Elk was Wyoming, mule deer as Colorado and the whitetail western Oklahoma
