I came across 2 monster trees/stickups outside of jackson hill Saturday that are about 6 inches out of the water. These numbers are close but not exact...I dropped a pin at an idle to capture the data

Oh yes! Any the lake is only 1.72 low. If you marked every one on your map north of the 147 bridge that is there... lots of red dots would be everywhere! Lol another 1’ down and it really gets ugly!

Thanks for the info. Seems the lower marker is fairly close to the boat lane.

Man I don’t know of any boat lanes on Rayburn.. there are some maps out there with lanes?? On them. Ken Smith on the site has some videos of ways to run the lake. But boat lanes.. I’ve fished this lake all of my 53 years alive and I have gps routes through the timber when the lake was low. But official boat lanes. I don’t think so. I find new lower unit killers all the time! Lol high water times come and big dead trees move around all over the lake. Be safe.

Did not mean to be literal. You are correct there are no physical boat lanes. I was referring to mapping lanes from www.boatlanes.com.

As it drops you'll start seeing a lot more stumps where everyone runs especially above the 147. Lanes aren't marked obviously but there are definitely lanes that were cut before Rayburn filled. They are easier to see once it drops more

They are easier to see once it drops more I'm hoping cause I've always wanted to know how to run up the river safely

I only get to go to Rayburn a few times a year, but the first few times I went I got to see it with the water level down a bit. That lake is one that has to be respected. I hear guys say all the time that Rayburn is "wide open". That is one of the stupidest statements I have ever heard. There are a ton of widow makers out there.
