Guess I should have clarified. I want a longer term than it seems most credit unions will allow also.

What is considered a good rate in the last few months? I know they have gone up in the last 2 years.

Great folks, very easy to work with, very good rate and length of loan

I believe that the year of the boat makes a big difference in loan term. In the past I have gotten a better rate at a CU, but the shorter term was killing me. I put more money down than I could afford to lower my payment, but they only further shortened the term so I really didn't lower my monthly payments.
This time I am getting a slightly higher rate at Rec Lending, but the term is much more affordable (for the short term).

I’ve never had a problem getting a loan but reclending wanted 21.5% down and still offered over 7% interest. Sorry that’s crazy.

Oh well.

Went through the dealer (which has never been the best option for me on any purchase be it car, boat, or RV) and they offered 2 percentage points better with 10% down.

Pick up my boat Saturday cool

Not bashing btw. Seemed like a smooth process and they were helpful through texts and email.
Just didn’t work out for me with them for some reason.
