Was on them today as well. 75 is a pain in the ****....literally. That thing has so many 'repairs' that there are huge dips...gotta stay in the left lane if at all possible, because the right lane is like riding the bull at Billy Bob's. South of string town I agree horrible. And between Atoka and Durant. Love Bledsoe's diner in atoka. I've actually eaten here, it's worth the stop. Two forks up!

My wife used to stop at Bledsoe’s every trip with her mom and dad as they made their way to the hill country from AR back in the 70’s. That place has been there forever. I’ve never ate there but that’s gonna change soon.

I will have to agree. I drive 69/75 from McKInney to Checotah and then east on I-40 into AR every 2 weeks, and there’s stretches on that road that will almost knock you outta your seat if you’re not holding onto the wheel tight. And the construction...... take 82 over to 271 and up to the turnpike. if you come up from bonham to fm 100 there is a short cut to the state line that saves a huge amount of mileage, all good road.

Oklahoma roads are truly bad in many areas...even in OKC and in main highways going west. I have to get a front end alignment in my truck every time I get back to Texas from there

I swear I stopped to check if I had a flat tire.. it’s like they invented invisible speed bumps.

My niece is attending university there....we had to go to buy a new dryer and other things....jarring when you don't expect to hit some of those 'repairs'.

State Hwy 43 to Lake Sardis is in great shape as are state Hwys 2,1, and 63 to Hartshorne and McAlester from Sardis
75/69 single lane sucked for about 30 miles and uneven pavement for another 30 75/69 has been single lane for years. Never any work being done. Never any machines on the side. It’s like they forgot to pick up the barrels six years ago. Absolutely awful drive from 121 to NW Arkansas.

atoka is a speed trap[/quote] There was a time in the 90s when Stringtown was exposed as the worst speed trap in the US. It is still a speed trap but not near as bad as it was.
