Thanks for the report. We said the same Saturday morning. We don’t have SL or LS. We have been trying to use anchors. It works somewhat but is tough. Much easier to tie off to trees. Sorry to ask...what is SL? A certain type of fish finder?

Spot lock makes it easier. And Livescope is a game changer. But there are guys on here with neither and they can still put me to shame. There’s a lot to be said for experience and instinct.

Started reel slow today, just kept moving, had two trees produce 10 each, shut it down at noon.

Started reel slow today, just kept moving, had two trees produce 10 each, shut it down at noon. You couldn’t get one more? Do you add anything to your livewell to keep your fish alive?

We actually ended up with 51, somehow we got off. We don't put anything in the live well, but we do shut down the fishing early in the heat.
