Is there an easy way to connect a pair of Humminbird on my 2008 198 champion? I have tried to run a fish tape and cannot get it to the console.

What model 'Birds?

You can sometimes run through the rod box.

Do you have a spare wire in there that you can pull back through?

Maybe a power source for the bow light switch. Tie two lines to that wire and draw them through, then pull the wire back with the line, you now have a wire and a line to draw the ethernet cable. There also might be a removable "wall" inside your rod box that you can remove or run behind.

I cant get a fish tape thru the side of my boat.

I can get a piece of 3/4 pvc easily a 10 footer...... very very easily.

Ive got some strings ran thru there I leave in there but the pvc works much better.

Just an idea.
