Hey y'all how goes it, man am I releaved been iching to get some fishing in for going on two weeks now finally found some time to get a night trip to the bayou in with some friends. the water was high and moving fast due to all this rain we've been getting. threw some corn close to shore off the high current hoping to snag something and this big guy was waiting gave me an awesome fight ended up breaking my rod in two witch was a bummer but hell just an excuse to get more gear  so all in all good trip to the bayou . ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2020/08/full-94093-62077-img_20200804_231446_298.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2020/08/full-94093-62078-27167445242466.jpg)

Thanks everyone yeah I needed a good rod bender to get thru the rest of the week 😅. now the weekend is about to be a good one the fishing reports not looking good but I got a good feeling anyhow
