Missed the Boyer party because of work but had Nonday off. So Mark Frank and I went out to Tawak. It was blowing 15 to 20 straight out of the north. Yes i had a jacket on in August .
It started out slow and finally about 11 am we got on some active fish. We landed about 50 sand bass , 4 or 5 under sized hybrid/striper and two legal hybrid before lunch. When we came back out after lunch the fishing was on. We landed 100 more sand bass and got into some big fish. I landed a 28 inch and Mark landed a 27 inch striper. Frank got some good fish too. we kept the big ones to clean and two giant sand bass that were gut hooked . Weird weather day but we made it happen. Had a great time Frank and Mark.
