Or not ๐Ÿ˜‹

A buddy & I caught 2 limits of drag screaming freight trains drifting sardines on an absolutely beautiful day in the gulf ...with a slight breeze and a near zero seas. The early morning ride out was rough & choppy but conditions improved dramatically soon after. Some pics ...

Way to go. Love catching them, not so much eating them. I guess I have never had someone cook them right. I have not tried myself.

Youโ€™re right ...they are a blast to catch! I think anyone that fishes should experience it at least once.

Kings are pretty decent fare on the grill if you use them fresh. Leaving the skin on makes them much easier to handle so they don't fall apart. They are also a great fish to smoke if you like that style of cooking.
