Anyone get out yesterday? I was on Bridgeport at 6Am till 6PM yesterday. What an amazing day to be fishing for August in Texas! Until the sun came out about 3pm in felt like a Fall day. Big water was pretty rough with the wind but I I found a good pattern around the docks, then in 12 FOW off steep cliffs. Caught about 30 LM and a couple SB and 1 big Cat. Big was no more than 3# but sure had fun getting my hands smelling like fish for a change.

My daughter and I fished Whitney last night from 8:30 until 4:30 am. Below is what she thought of it.....
Pretty tough for us.

Nice job at Bridgeport BTW ReelSlow. And yes we fished a little while after work and it was real nice. The crappies on brush piles were biting.

Great night on the water just the same! Before my daughter passed out she said, it’s ok dad. We just brought the wrong boat is all. (She wants to take out the bowfishing rig tomorrow night which will draw in the older daughter as well!)

Yep, a buddy and I hit Palestine at daylight. Jigging for crappie on the 155 bridge. I had three in the boat fairly quickly but nothing after that. It sure was nice until the sun popped out. I did catch one very nice slab though. [Linked Image]
