I have some corrosion on the connection where my trolling motor plug connects to the boat. You know the green stuff on your battery in the car. Anyway, my questions are this:

1. What's the best way to clean it?
2. Should I be worried about it?

That's why they call it fishing and not catching!

After cleaning it up I would use some dielectric grease to keep the moisture out.

Brush it off with small wire brush and soak the prongs in coke and then use dielectric gease when you plug it back up.
