I am rigging up my new Nautic Star for a 36V trolling motor and am wondering where you Nautic Star owners mounted the third battery and the charger.

I was thinking about mounting the charger in the compartment under the console on the vertical wall.


Second thought was to mount on the starboard vertical wall.

My charger and 3 batteries are all inside the center console on the floor.

That's how mine is as well.

My 214XTS batteries and charger are also under the center console, with a plug in interface for the charger on the side of the CC. One thing to consider, my batteries are along the port side of the CC, which is also the same side my steering is on. Since I fish about 50 % of the time by myself I have a noticeable list to the port side due to the weigh imbalance while the boat is planing and to full throttle until I am trimmed all the way up. It's just a peeve to me, but I thought I would share.

I have a 231 and have all three batteries where you have that one... then I put the charger in the starboard vertical wall (as you've illustrated) with a charging port to plug in the extension cord about 2 1/2 feet above the charger so I can reach it from the ground. HTH.

I have a 2014 Nautic star . Three batteries easily fit under the console as well as the onboard charger and Bobo's thumper !

Same here. 2 batteries under the console with charger. Cranking battery in the rear.

I have a Champ not a Nautic Star. 2 batteries on port, cranking battery., charger, and alternator charger on starboard side. The alternator charger works great. I can get home after running the TM all morning and battery indicator reads 100%.
