Some of the boats being pictured today have more electronics, trolling motor included, than I can imagine.
I have old school Minn Kota 36v, a first year sidefinder by Humminbird and a matching unit without the sidefinder up front.
How much have you sunk in yours?

$295 Garmin 541S GPSMAP unit bought 2009. I'm on a 13 foot boat so even this is overkill. Boat: 1993, motor 2014. In action:

I think I paid a little less than $300 for my Lowrance Hook 5, plus $100 to have it installed on my kayak, and $300 for my FPV 17ah lithium battery (weighs 2 pounds, totally water proof and I can fish three days before it needs to be recharged. I want to upgrade to a 7†screen, though.

I have 2 HDS7 gen3 touches at the console, and an 1199 up front and I’ve spent roughly $1000 for all of them, including all mounts.

I think I have the same set up. I'm primarily shallow water junk fisherman so I haven't really had much need to upgrade. However, I considering an upgrade. Just not sure if that just the electronics or along with a new boat.

right at 8k 2 garmin 93sv plus, one 92sv plus (no ducer or maps), panoptix livescope, force 57" trolling motor. that is replacement cost, cash out of pocket, about 7k. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2020/08/full-33597-61804-20200802_175939.jpg) this is my last boat and wanted the best I could afford, 250 on back and it will be done.

I have a 12†bird and 10†bird gen2 bought on close out.
About 2 grand
