I have had a dog in my life since I was three. Had a rat terrier stand between my 3 year old nephew and a snake, she was a little dog but dayum she was fierce. I currently have a Pyrenees/Labrador mix I rescued and he thinks my kids are his flock of sheep, he watches them and sleeps with them. He is a hell of a guard dog with a scary loud bark.

I have a friend who has 3 dogs and 3 kids. He told me he loves the dogs as much as his kids. So I asked a hypothetical question. If the house was burning down and you could only save the kids or the dogs which would it be. He said 2 dogs and 1 kid. I laughed as I thought he was joking but he was dead serious. I have heard folks call their dogs their children but I never really believed they really meant it. Some folks really love their dog. So I asked his wife the same question and she said her kids of course.

So I hijack this thread and ask you the same question. Kids or dogs can't be both?

Pathetic

We take our pug to Stonebriar mall in a baby stroller in the wintertime

Also when we go on long walks with her, we take the stroller when she tires out so she can be pushed back home.

Good Times

Dogs would drag out what I couldn’t the cat would lose seniority.
But yes I ain’t saying I wouldn’t go back in to save dogs but doubt that would be the issue.
Personally these days people spend more than they will on a human.
Go figure

I love dogs...but not pushing them around in a stroller.

I don’t trust people who don’t like dogs...

And I feel sorry for anyone who does not know the affection of a good dog.

Probably just me.

Why don't you tell us what you really think while you're at it even though we could care less. Beastiality is not the same thing as having a pet. That is an insult to any pet owner.

First of all, I don't own a pet. Second of all, if you are going to quote the Bible try giving a civil Christain response instead of a holier-than-thou one. While you're at it, look up beastiality and report back.

I've had some great pets.

None that I couldn't shoot in the back yard and sleep peacefully that night.
