One for the old guys. Tom Monsoor just won the FLW super at age 71, Clunn won an elite series event at age 69 in 2016 both had very deep fields. Clunn also won an elite last year but I don't hold as much weight to that one because the field was mostly newcomers with BPT being created.

71year old for sure, he's older and closer to the wrong side of the ball

February 12,2019 at the age 72 Clunn won the BASS Elite. He also moved like he was 30 landing a huge fish.

Clunn beat all the former BASS pros not too long ago as well

Monsoor deserved that win. Guy had a tremendous amount of top finishes there.

But Clunn had a smaller field almost half the size, I would say a tie

Clunn's was more impressive. Monsoor won on his home waters he has been fishing for 60 years or so.

Monsoor comes across so much more amiable than Clunn. No doubt Clunn’s career is a top three in the history of the sport, but seeing Tom Monsoor just having a great time out there and sharing his thoughts was cool. I must say if Clunn was on camera “ just sharing his thoughts” it would be a bit too cerebral.
I’m a simple guy. I’d bet Tom is too.
Great win for the geezers!

Can't be a tie, there can only be one grand champion boomer

I’m going to sit on the fence, too. They’re both equally impressive.
