Not trying to tell you your business but this doesn't seem like a typical teen smoker issue . I know I went to great lengths to keep my parents from finding out while I lived at home . Sounds to me like she's testing the waters in your relationship .

I'd certainly bring it up but in a very non-confrontational way . Let momma do the head-bashing .

Tell her the story of how your buddy lowew79 on the TFF was homeless for a few months. As a teen my dad's workplace folded and another job opportunity came up right away, but he missed that opportunity because he could not pass a pee test. So dad had to take us and live on family and friends couches for a few months until he found another job and got his system cleaned up.

It was embarrassing for us, but it was humiliating for dad. All because he couldn't or wouldn't stop smoking pot with his buddies.

What about all the jobs with employers that have a zero-tolerance random drug test program? One reason they have such a program is that it typically reduces their cost of insurance for the workplace, so it's not just a lifestyle statement. My wife's business cannot, by state regulation, hire anyone who can't pass a drug test and a background check. Some convictions on a record can bar a person from employment by her company with no exception. "No real harm" may be your opinion, but law, regulation, and employer preference don't quite agree it seems.

Never understood why (my opinion)someone would ruin some good smoke rolling it up in tobacco...

Story time....

I found my oldest sons dirty mag one time. I found the page with all the "wear" placed a photo of his grandmother there. Put it back. Never said a word to him. Few days later, it was no where to be found. I know apples and oranges. My point is, I let him know he was busted, but never confronted him...... he either gave it up, or got better at hiding it from me. Sometimes a little psychology is the best tool.
