I have heard that it is easier to catch big fish during spawn in a tube b/c of the little amout of noise but how do you guys deal with snakes and such when you are in the timber and weeds????

A five spot for a shot and a beer? And you wonder how we wound up here.

Just make sure you get them before they get you.
Funny how that expensive rod you been treating with kid gloves can become a snake whacking stick in a matter of seconds.

I've been tubing 24+ years and I have never had a problem with snakes. They won't bother you.

Ineptocracy (in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

Never had a problem. I have seen them but if you give a little twitch of your rod they will go the other way.

Been noodling and tubing and haven't had a problem this far...
Bank fishing on the other hand is another topic...
I have had to leave the area, because more of them was following my lure than Fish...(Ray Roberts last year)

4 footer came within 10 feet of me 3 times this past weekend at the pond. Dang thing kept swimming back and forth across the pond and never paid attention to me. It was odd.
