It's been a busy month as the Covid Virus has not stopped the number of folks wanting to get out of the House and onto the Water! While the overall traffic on Richland Chambers has slowed a bit after the July 4th Holiday, the number of folks calling wanting a Guide Trip has continued to be at a rate that we can't accommodate all who want to fish! We apologize for that and hope folks will continue to call as we do have an occasional cancel and we're now booking mid August, the Labor Day Holiday period and Fall. Fishing for the Whites and Hybrids has settled into a slower Summertime pace and the Good Old Easy Days of Springtime Catchin' are behind us. About the only Consistent thing about the Summer Pattern is the Inconsistency! Seems that no two days are alike with the Top Water Schooling one day and not the next and the depths you catch your Slab Fish will change from 12'-20' FOW regularly. However, if you stay on the Lake enough and know the Summer Patterns of shallow water Points, Humps and Ridges with a Slab bite and early AM Top Water in the 50' FOW Main Lake areas, you most often will get your box of fish! dance2 We're burning some gas but getting our Customers plenty of fish fry material. Here's some Pics from the past couple of weeks. The last one was a Bonus Fish caught on a Slab on yesterday's trip. (C,P, & R was practiced!) Check out our PACKAGE SPECIAL at www.gonefishin.biz & have a great day!

Fishing got a bit tougher several days last week with one day having absolutely no Top Water Schooling & the next day Whites schooled for 2 hours plus! Best days were the breezy and cloud cover days like Monday, Thursday and Friday and the tough bluebird sky days like Saturday were humbling! Check out the South Shoreline from Fisherman's Point to Ferguson Point for the AM Top Water action. Fish will be in the 50' FOW range. If the fish aren't schooling we're moving up the Creeks to find our Slab fish on Points and Humps in 12'-20' FOW. The fish are really on the move and aren't easily located in the same spots from day to day. It's that time of the year when you can go from Hero to Zero from one day to the next. Luckily we were able to get a box of fish most days last week and everyone managed to go home with Fish Fry material. Our calendar opens up in mid August and if interested, check us out at www.gonefishin.biz or call 903-389-4117. Here's a few Pics from the activity last week!
