i have rescued 3 while in Texas. A Weim and 2 labs. Last one from a lab rescue group on facebook. All 3 were amazing

3 out of the last 4 were rescues . Loki (Siberian) is a rescue and I couldn't ask for a better yard dog even if he is like a border collie on meth .

With wife's allergies she wanted a dog that didn't shed. 2 Standard Poodles and $3200 later shes happy. Have to admit they are probably the best dogs I've ever owned.

Rescue please, the shelters in Texas or sooo full and there are so many other street dogs why support back yard breeders?

If you know what kind of dog your looking for hit face book and look for a rescue that specializes in that breed. If your open and willing to travel Beauties and Beasts on fb in Wichita Kansas helped me rescue some dogs from Zapata. They can tell you of others maybe closer to you.

I’m running into the same thing looking for a Maine coon cat. I’ve always had rescues in the past but I want one of those miniature(ish) lions that folks aren’t quite sure it’s just a housecat. $800 and up for a well bred kitten with heath certificates.

I'd love another yorkie.
