New to the area, and just got new kayaks for my son’s and I. We are looking for tips for fishing day Roberts and the surrounding area.

What are ya fishing for? Buck creek has bass and crappie, some cats. Jordan park is good too. Lots of great spots on that lake.

Another spot you can enjoy is below the dam. You can paddle down the elm fork and catch a variety of fish.

We want to catch anything. Mostly bass and crappie would be our target.

I was below the dam last weekend and watched some big crappie getting pulled out along the rip rap. Lots of structure downstream.
