Just getting back into fishing, I’ve been chasing bass the last few months but tonight I want to see about landing a few catfish. How deep are y’all catching them on average?

Look for timber in that depth with a creek running beside it

I drift fish in 20 to 30 FOW last weekend almost the night with out a bight using fresh shad. Did not get a bite. When we got back to the ramp a young couple was fishing with worms in about 7 to FOW and had around 15 nice channel cats. There bait was worms. I gave them the rest of the shad and you would of thought I just gave them a winning lottery ticket.
