also i want to say thx to everyone for their help. since i moved out of the city i have asked lots of questions and appreciate the help i have received on here. big shout out to hopolong as he is generally the first to give out help! thx guys!

The electric is fine for the boat and truck, and the occasional sidewalk. When you say house I assume you are talking about siding or stucco. In that case the job is a great deal bigger, and I think you will appreciate the bigger washer.

Go with the most PSI you can afford at least 2500. The bigger electric rigs are 220v so to me gas is the way to go.

I just got a Ryobi electric for Father’s Day. I have only used it on the back patio which is exposed aggregate and natural stone. It did fine but kinda slow going.

You don't need much psi for boat/vehicle.

Now, if you ever plan on doing concrete/aggregate/stone that hasn't been cleaned in a while; you can not be over powered.

I just bought a Ryobi 2300psi electric at HD. $279.00 + tax. So far so good.

I have both. I use my 1400psi electric for light-duty jobs. I think I paid about $80 for it a few years back at Home depot. Now if I want to pressure wash my house or driveway, I have a gas powered, 2600psi type. I have a 15" round spray head, also. To tell you the truth, I wish I had a higher-powered gas sprayer. On some jobs, you just can't have enough HP.

Be safe,

I bought a 2800psi at Sams a couple of years back. Blew two boards completely off my deck the first time I used it. It was great!

Electric is fine for clearing leaves, spiderwebs, or sweeping. I got a gas and what a step up. No worries about too much power for truck washing etc as they come with multiple nozzles.
