i5 motor guide beeps one time when trying to anchor mode. Can’t get it to work.

Do you have a GPS signal? The blue light should be lit up. You may need to reconfigure the motor...

The power also doesn’t turn off when stowed. I’ve read on a couple forums the 2 are related but I can’t find answer.

There is a switch that tells the system whether you’re stowed or deployed, it must be either misadjusted or not working. Start with that, and let us know what you find out.
