I'm afraid there are going to be many more similar similar situations in our future unless Trump gets re-elected and comes down hard on these protestors who riot, loot burn and destroy other people's property...we have also got to take the gloves off our police officers when it comes to people who resist arrest, fight with or run from officers otherwise we are going to have a lawless country where it will be unsafe to go into or live in any of our larger cities.....if you think I'm exaggerating,go walk around at night in the ethnic neighborhoods in Memphis,St. Louis,Baltimore,Minneapolis,Washington D.C.,Detroit or any large city and see how long you last without being robbed, beaten or killed....

I would have just waited inside and shot them dead if they came in actually.....in Texas....don't know Missouri law and that it was a search warrant rather than arrest warrant is odd....I don't care enough to go look. And they said something about burning their house down. Would you just wait inside for that? No....but I'd wait until I saw a molotov in their hand....if you shoot it, it will be a hell of a short riot, I promise you that...cover from inside is what I meant...sorry I wasn't clear

In this day and time, laws and proteching oneself are much different than just a short time back.
If they had it to do all over again I bet they would have let them come in the house and then delt with them instead of heading it off at the pass. Breaking down a private gate and trespassing are now accpetable unless you are white.
Thanks, Billy

Well, I understand they are actually liberals. They must be somewhat confused liberals given that they apparently concluded that having firearms for personal protection was a good idea. With little firearms knowledge, you get what you get. I admit they didn't have the look of experienced firearms handlers, and that doesn't do our cause any good. He's an attorney; you'd think he would have at least read the code on it. they are both attys specializing in civil rights cases is what I heard reported. go figure. I bet they have much different opinions on such matters now that the proverbial shoe has been on the other foot!

I believe the old saying “better to be tried by twelve than carried by six” applies here.

That’s pitiful if you cannot protect your own property.

Who wants to bet that they are charged with a crime and the trespassers are never pursued? Remember; two people were just charged with a hate crime for defacing a Black Lives Matters mural painted on a street.

They were sloppy with handling their weapons, seemed to provoke the situation but had the right to protect their property. Should have stayed inside and stacked moron protestors like cord wood.

i was taught you don’t point a gun at anything unless you are going to pull the trigger. I think the husband was okay, nothing should happen to him. The wife pointed her pistol at the trespassers. I feel an appropriate sentence for her should be to take a gun safety class.
