I have noticed less and less on store shelves in the way of tackle. Even Tackle wharehouse and others are out of stock. Tungsten, hooks and other stuff is hard to come by. My thoughts are most of this tackle is made overseas, so is not being shipped to the USA. I am not sure if I am right, so I am asking this. What terminal tackle and other stuff is made in America? If it is made here we may have a chance to get some.

Thanks,
Chuck

Their blanks came from China for a very long time. They used to do local assembly, but I think that's stopped entirely now. Like many now, "corporate headquarters" is basically a warehouse.

Talon Fishing Unlimited products are made on the shores of Toledo Bend lake right here in Texas.

St Croix rods are made in Wisconsin.

They may have an office in Dallas but their rods and reels are imported from overseas. I was in the import biz for a while and know this first hand.
