dang, he just stepped in a hole and re-injured an old wounded knee...took him out...Correy...he had a gr8 shack built 2...1 gal is on 11 days and no shelter...there's ben 2 porcupines killed...lots of fat...ketchin' alot of fish in gill nets...i'm still pullin' for Roland / Alaska guy / rock house

Most people would not move to Alaska because in the wilderness no cell phone and no TV

one guy with a fly in his ear...finally got it out by flooding it with water...another ate a squirrel, got sick, tapped out...cold hasn't set in yet...they're storing up meat for the long haul...setting gill nets and ketchin' monsters...gonna start gittin' interesting in the next couple of shows...lake freezes in 2 weeks...a couple are actually hunting bear for meat with bow/arrow

been 14 years since i drove the Alaskan highway and in Alaska drove from fairbanks tthrough Anchorage to Homer on the coast....most people traveling the alaskan highway use wi-fi to comunicate which is available at most of the small towns....cell phone almost non existent at the time except in half dozen or so small towns along the alaskan highway.....cell phone service was available in fairbanks,anchorage and Homer in alaska....

I've only seen season 6. Enjoyed the show. Jordan is a tough dude. Kills a moose with a recurve bow, cuts it up with a pocket knife, then kills a wolverine with a dang hatchet for trying to steal his moose meat!

Remember the previous season? With these 3. I was so mad I couldn't see straight. The old man tapped out on day 2,claimed to have a chest cold.Why did they even invite a wore-out,old 60 yo man in the first place? And the younger dude,a big burly,tough guy,pussed out after just a week,said he was missing his family,total p*****. The girl easily went the whole month and was in great shape at the end!

I like Joe as crazy as he is but Roland seems to have an advantage with his background. It will be interesting once the sub zero weather sets in and food is in short supply.
