He said: "We shouldn’t try to save everyone from COVID-19. The question is, how do we mitigate the harms as much as we can without reducing it to zero? Because reducing the infections to zero means destroying the economy."

So he's putting the economy before people. I believe that is morally and ethically wrong. Human lives are more important than that.

Lt Gov Patrick, rightfully so, was raked over the coals for saying something similar.

I'm a die-hard right-wing conservative, but I am embarrassed by the Republican Party's response to COVID-19, which is exactly whit this bozo is saying, along with many conservative talk show hosts.

Did you just stop listening after that? There are bad consequences to shutting down the economy, far worse than Covid. It's a hard fact the safety crowd can't comprehend.

Good point Mr Hancock. May I add that in my opinion, trying to limit spread to zero is not really a plan. There is no point that our society can get to that will satisfy some. We have to deal with the situation we are in. You have to balance the economy, and people’s health.

He probably is remorseful he called someone a "[censored]" that he knows absolutely NOTHING about. He realizes it illuminates a lack of character while making him appear the [censored] ! This is good !!!!

Why would I be remorseful? What makes you think I don't know anything about Dr Zubin Damania, who is nothing more than a Dr Phil wannabe, monetizing his opinion by creating YouTube videos that attract the masses of sheeple?

Funny how you question my character for expressing an opinion about a YouTube celebrity, yet you seem to have a strong opinion about me, about whom you know even less.

I learned all I needed to know about you with your derogatory and hateful original post in this thread. Sad that decent manners, even when anonymous behind a keyboard, is severely lacking in this society. I know you are not remorseful. Your character is on full display with these posts. tsch tsch.

My response to you was chiding you and hoping you might take the high road from here on. Unfortunately you seem full of yourself. Have a deserving day !

Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it !

It's not the government's job to protect my health.

It's the government's job to protect my Constitutional freedoms.

Dangerous freedom over safe slavery.

So you're against food safety laws, stop signs and traffic lights, and things like safety standards for automobiles and airplanes?

What did I say, exactly, that was derogatory and hateful in my original post? What was not factual? Please elaborate.

How do I seem full of myself? Is everyone who has an opinion different from yours also full of themselves?

What is your stance on vaccinations?

I haven't done much research on that.

Only a fool would disregard the good done by the measles and polio vaccines. And we don't see smallpox anymore for a reason.

That said, I'm also very aware that modern vaccines contain dangerous chemicals and I have not/will not ever get a flu or covid vaccine.

I don't think it's the government's job to require them. It's not an easy black/white answer. But when that is the case, I tend to err on the side of less government. So, if you don't want to get a vaccine, don't get one. The government does not have the authority to require it.

Vaccines do contain dangerous chemicals. The flu vaccine for instance contains as much as 100 ug of formaldehyde. Which is highly concerning until you learn that a single pear contains 1200 ug of formaldehyde. Very dangerous indeed.
