Just saw the notification about a 3 fish limit on Tawakoni this weekend. Great job Basschamps, this is why you guys run the best trail in Texas. Great decision IMO!

After our dismal practice 10 days ago I just hope to catch 3 keepers. Can't understand why we can catch so many fish out there but never find good fish.

Why is a 3 fish limit the right call? Did I miss something? Water Temperatures in the 90s and Air Temps near 100... Fewer fish in the live wells all day long.

Why is a 3 fish limit the right call? Did I miss something? 90 + degree surface water temps is super hard on the fish in the live well plus potential for 110 degree ambient temp on Saturday doesn’t help any either.

Tawakoni doesn't have enough keepers to go around so this is one way everyone has a chance to limit out.

I like it a lot given the fact we lost our biggest fish at Ray Roberts just 3 weeks ago. Granted it was because our recirc pumps quit working without us realizing it.
Not everyone has a Oxygen tank on their boat and while ice and additives work well, it's still WAY easier to keep 3 fish alive than 5 when you're talking about 85+ water temps with what is currently forecast to be 100+ degree air temps.

Got ya. Haven’t fished enough of these bigger trails to come across the 3 fish limit. Didn’t think about the heat. Thanks. Was just curious.
