Do people buy fish finders without transducers or cables? I no longer need my 998 because Iām replacing it with an Helix. Curious if I can sell it or not. It works fine.

Yes, some have broken screens or bad head units so hey already have the transducer and cables in the boat...

It would be valuable to someone who runs one of the other brands but only want a Humminbird head unit just to run lakemaster mapping

It would be valuable to someone who runs one of the other brands but only want a Humminbird head unit just to run lakemaster mapping ^^This. I run two Helix 7s just for mapping. Transducers are still in the box. Boat came with Lowrance. 998 would still be a decent unit for mapping.
