We finally have another internet/TV provider other than Frontier/Dish here in Justin. Spectrum is offering a plan that would save a little over $50/month with same basic plan I have now with Frontier as internet provider and Dish as TV.
Any Reviews from those of you who have Spectrum? I'm not ready to completely cut the cord and go Prime, Roku, YouTube TV, etc.
Thanks

I have spectrum internet and like it. The first year was their promotional rate, then they bumped it up to their standard rate. Here in recent years they have increased their standard rate some. My guess is that they are losing money from the TV and land line side so thats why internet rates have gone up. Apart from that annoyance, the internet works well for all of the work and streaming that I do.

I had two years with Spectrum internet, cable and phone. All three services were excellent with total promotional price of $140/month. Promotional rates ended this month, so dropped cable and phone. Standard internet cost now $90/month. YouTubeTV is great at $50/month.

Spectrum was the worst product experience I have ever had. I dealt with the Frontier terrible service when they switched from Verizon and it was bad. Spectrum had outages everytime it rained. Some outtages lasted 3 or 4 days. If you have buried cables feeding you, I would not even think about it. They came by the house and replaced my modem 6 times in 4 months. I could not convince them the modem was never an issue. It was their 1st response anytime someone called. They didn't even try to troubleshoot the issue. I went back to Frontier and have not had a single outtage in over a year.

Thanks for all the other replies, decision time.

We've had Spectrum Internet and TV for 8-9 months. Internet is 400 mbs so speed is good for us and no buffering issues on any downloads, and about 4x faster than the AT&T we dropped for less money. There have been a few minor glitches with the TV service but they were all taken care of quickly with a phone call.
Family is everything! Life is precious. We donโt have forever. We have now. This moment. We can choose to love our lives now.

I have Spectrum internet only and no problems with it at all. In fact they've been very pro-active in keeping the equipment in working order. The pole is behind my house and a couple of months ago they came out a couple of times to replace equipment. I talked to the guys and they said there wasn't really anything wrong with it (I didn't have any issues), but they were upgrading equipment in the area for future higher speeds and better compatibility, etc.
