Need some help/advice. I can only gave 1 unit on bow and don't really know the difference and the best unit out of these 2 and they're the same price. I will also be adding Livescope. Thx upfront

echomap with the u.s. lakes would be my pick.

I have 2 93 sv plus and a 92 sv plus all echomap. the ultra should be a uhd as well.

If all you are wanting the unit for is Livescope then go with the 1022 or 1222 base unit no maps no sonar. If you want maps and Sidevu/Clearvu then go with a echoMap 106sv or 126sv with the GT54 UHD transducer.

What is the advantage of the EchoMap 106sv over the 102sv?

Same unit, different built-in maps. 102 has basic map package, 106 has the "BLUECHART® G3 AND LAKEVÜ G3" map package

you can buy map cards thru navionics, garmin owns them now.
the navionics will not work in a garmin unit, need the u.s. lakes g3 I think is what it is called.
