During this ongoing pandemic television has grown progressively worse with each passing month.
Tonight, the best thing on tv is the Birkenstock hour on the Shopping Channel.

Pitiful.

I might be wrong, but I doubt that any new shows/movies are in production. Thus, my hopes for improvement in the fall are dim. The one hope I held fast was sport, but with athletes in the nfl and nba hellbent on making a political statement. I’m weary of politics...can’t you just play the games.

I spend about $150/month for Dish. Am I alone in thinking it might be nearing the time to just get a library card and tell Dish to stick it?

I am seriously looking at free broadcast TV, Netflix, and Amazon Prime and forgetting cable/satellite.

Try investigating some alternative viewing sources that were developed within the last decade like Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, etc.

Audible for books on tape. Great for when you are cruising around or doing projects.

TV sucks and has for awhile. with a few exceptions, we don't watch any mainstream TV. AS for Netflix, its been great but you are starting to see more left wing series and documentories with Obama on the board. He and Michelle are even producing some movies and series for Netflix this fall.

Mainstream Media is a joke. All of them, including Fox are just propaganda. The world is on fire and I'm personally tired of listening to the politicians spew big words and threaten us everyday, only to sit on their thumbs and do absolutely nothing. This includes both sides.

This isn't going to get better folks, only worse, and if Trump wins again (he will even with the cheating mail in ballots) you are going to see real anarchy take place. I fear for our country, our constitution, and our freedoms. Blood in the streets is a real possibility in the not too distant future.

Just updated my Dish and went with the lowest package. Can do a on demand thing to watch something that is not on the package but I saved a good sum by doing it. Also got the latest in controls and such and it made a big difference in how the TV looks.

Amazon Firestick with Kodi loaded on it.

We haven't watched cable in a year.

Get Netflix or Prime. So many great shows... The Blacklist, Queen of the South, Ozark, Hoarders, Hoarding:Buried Alive, Cold Case Files, The First 48, The First 48 Missing Persons, Dead To Me, etc.

Audible is wonderful. I’m usually listening to a book while working around the house. Also libraries have audiobooks you can borrow and listen on your phone. Between Netflix, Amazon prime, Disney plus, and PBS, I’m set. Especially when you start getting into The Great Courses stuff.

We've watched most of those lately along with Wanted, The Lost Kingdom -- and Longmire and Justified again.

Fire Stick only for us. We got rid of direct TV and will never go back.

Cut DTV 1 March and installed an Antop antenna on the roof. Streamed Prime until last weekend and installed a Roku and activated Hulu +Live TV.

I cut cable over a year ago. Have only missed it a few times. Having decent broad band helps. I watch more and more YouTube these days. NO news.
