come up to fork this weekend and you can go out and play with mine, just finished a full garmin setup.

the force anchor lock is awesome, super quiet with the brushless motor too.

Do you have to have a unit with GPS? Can these anchor on a spot on without control signal from a gps unit? I don’t understand how they work.

No. My understanding is that all of the spot lock units use GPS. That’s how my xi5 works.

Mo, I would say spot lock. But, I have both. I don’t even turn on my DI very often on the bow.

the force has built in compass/gps, when you set it up you have to orient the compass, same with livescope, transducer has a compass built in.

it will update without a graph hooked up as well, you do it thru your phone and the remote control
